I've tried reinstalling the drivers manually and checking windows settings for "speaker fill" but enhancements tab is missing.
Other than that, it only plays in stereo mode meaning only the right and the left speakers make sound. Now, all the options have disappeared from the Realtek Manager and the sound system only works when I test it through the windows control panel (subwoofer etc. Yesterday, I upgraded my PC and along with other parts, I also upgraded my motherboard. The only thing I had to do was to go to the Realtek HD Audio Manager and check the option for Bass Management which would allow my 5.1 system to work properly on YouTube and other stereo "only" sources. What should I do to get the feature back.I bought 2 or 3 years ago a logitech z506 and had it working properly on my PC until yesterday. I'm sure it must exist, I had it on my previous MSI motherboard which has a realtek chip too, and it worked just fine. I even wrote to Asus support and they replied with "try equalizing it, we don't have such a feature". I have all the latest bios and software updates that Asus wants me to have. When playing multichannel audio the subwoofer does receive sound. Even when putting it up to +10db via room correction I still get 0 sound coming to the subwoofer. Without it my whole surround setup sounds dry, and just equalizing the sound won't help, as none of the upmixing/speaker fill goes towards my subwoofer at all. I looked in Asus' Realtek Audio Control app, and control panels Realtek HD Audio Manager but it's nowhere to be seen.
After changing my motherboard from an MSI to ASUS TUF Gaming B550 Plus I can no longer find a feature in Realteks audio panel called Bass management, which made sure that when Speaker Fill is enabled it would route the bass sections of other channels to the subwoofer instead.
